Galliani And Ancelotti: No More Transfers

The Rossoneri are currently without a number of players including Pato and Ronaldinho, who are on international duty, as well as Marco Borriello and Alessandro Nesta, the Italian duo are injured. Reports in Italy claimed that Milan would be returning to the market to bring in some emergency cover but Ancelotti has other ideas. “I don’t think the absence of a few players will affect us that much, and for this reason we will not be returning to the transfer market,” the coach told Il Corriere Dello Sport. “Our attack cannot be judged, we have no-one up there and so it cannot be criticised.” Milan chief Adriano Galliani also backed up his coach's statement as the two are set to hold down a meeting on Tuesday morning. "I will see Ancelotti on Tuesday morning and we will talk about what happened,” grumbled Galliani. “The result to Chelsea shocked me because Milan is the most successful team in the world and we are the current world club champions. “Kaka? His tendonitis is under control. As for the market, we will not be returning to it.” Milan will now be hoping to bounce back from the 5-0 drubbing they received at the hands of Chelsea. Ancelotti has a lot of explaining to do as Galliani demands answers.
