crunchsports: Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly launched a £50million bid for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, who has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester City.
Cavani has been on City's radar throughout the year, while rivals Manchester United have also been linked with the 24-year-old.
City boss Roberto Mancini saw the Uruguay international impress yet again last Tuesday as he fired his side to a 2-1 win over the Blues in the Champions League.
It had been thought that Chelsea were considering launching a bid for the talented forward in January, although Napoli insist the player is not for sale and Cavani himself is seemingly happy in Italy.
And despite interest from the Premier League, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentis has revealed that PSG have made the first move for his prize asset.
"The offer was for the January market," he was quoted by talkSPORT as saying.
"But he's not for sale, even less so in January."
