- Chelsea are ready to launch a £46million January bid for Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao, according to the Daily Mirror.



- Liverpool are favourites to win the race to sign Klaas-Jan Huntelaar in the January transfer window according to bookmakers Sky Bet, with the Schalke striker yet to agree a new contract with the Bundesliga club.



Huntelaar is out of contract at the end of the season and is free to sign a pre-contractual agreement with another club in January.



- Arsenal would most likely sign another striker in January if Wenger does decide he needs reinforcements, with Athletic Bilbao’s Fernando Llorente a potential target.



- Liverpool and QPR could make a move for out-of-favour Aston Villa striker Darren Bent in the January transfer window. Villa are prepared to sell the England international, according to Dailymail.



- Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman has told Sky Sports News that the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City will need to spend more than £11million if they want to sign striker Wilfried Zaha in January.
