Euro 2012 - Your view: England set for disaster

We keep being told that expectations are at their lowest ever ahead of a major tournament, so we put it to a public vote.
And you overwhelmingly believe that England have little chance of making it to the latter stages of the tournament.
A whopping 38 per cent of you predict that England will be heading home after the group stages, with a further 36 per cent believing that the Three Lions will roar loudly enough to make the semi-finals.
That gloom seems well-founded: with Fabio Capello quitting in astonishing circumstances just a few months before the tournament, John Terry playing with a racism trial hanging over his head, injuries to several key players and the loss of talisman Wayne Rooney for the toughest two group stage matches, this England squad looks very different from the one that qualified in very solid style last autumn.
Yet an inspiringly optimistic 15 per cent of you think that England will make the final, although just a fifth of those voters believe that we will go on to become the least likely winners of a tournament since Greece in 2004.
But in general pessimism is the overwhelming view - and it seems that you aren't the only ones who are expecting an early exit: Sunday's papers reported that the FA has already gone ahead and booked flights home the day after England's final group stage match against Ukraine.
