Juan Manuel Vargas, who has been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool, is reportedly unlikely to be sold by Fiorentina this summer.

Reports back in April had claimed Liverpool had already opened talks with Fiorentina over a possible deal for Vargas, who can play either as a left-back or on the left of midfield.
But according to Italian newspaper La Nazionale, the Serie A side are now looking to keep him at the club next season as their £12million asking price is yet to be met.
Fiorentina recently rejected an £8m bid from Bayern Munich for the versatile Peru international, who has also been linked with Juventus, Manchester United, and Real Madrid.
Vargas came close to joining Real Madrid last summer, with the Spanish giants understood to have offered him a five-year contract worth €3.5million a year. A fee with Fiorentina was never agreed, however.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was believed to have made an enquiry for Vargas on the final day of the summer transfer window nearly twelve months ago and has remained interested.
