Chelsea have reportedly failed with a €20million bid for Bayer Leverkusen forward Andre Schurrle.

Chelsea have already signed Eden Hazard and Marko Marin this summer but continue to be linked with players from across Europe.
After failing with a bid for Wigan winger Victor Moses last week it was reported that the Blues were ready to make a move for Schurrle instead of meeting Wigan's valuation of the Nigeria international.
And it appears that the west London outfit have done just that, only to see their opening offer for the 21-year-old, who has also been linked with AC Milan, rejected.
Leverkusen CEO Wolfgang Holzhauser was quoted as saying by German news agency SID on Sunday: "We were presented with a very concrete offer from Chelsea for Andre of beyond the €20million mark.
"The sum was pushed back and forth between the two clubs. We ultimately chose Andre.
"Andre is very valuable for us. He has also made it clear he would like to stay with us."
