Daniel Agger is the latest Premier League star to emerge on the Real Madrid radar.
The 27-year-old Liverpool centre-half is the second Reds defender to be coveted by a rival club with Manchester City keen on Martin Skrtel.
Agger has won the FA Cup, the Carling Cup and reached the Champions League Final with Liverpool since arriving there six years ago.
Real boss Jose Mourinho is already understood to be closing in on Spurs midfielder Luka Modric and is looking to reinforce his backline at the Bernebeu.
