Newcastle striker Demba Ba, who has been linked with Liverpool and Manchester United, has played down speculation about his future.

Ba has been linked with a number of clubs in recent weeks, with Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Tottenham also to have been showing interest in the former West Ham forward.
Reports earlier this week suggested Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers was considering making a move for the 27-year-old as he looks to strengthen his new squad, while Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson is also thought to be interested.
However as clubs consider launching bids, Ba, who has returned to Tyneside for pre-season training, wrote on his Twitter page: "So much stuff about me lately. Rumours are rumours! Just forget about it."
Newcastle want Ba, who has a £7million release clause in his contract, to stay at St James' Park and have been trying to work out a new deal, as under the terms of his existing deal, he could collect around £3m of the £7m transfer fee should he quit the club.
It is believed the Senegal international has refused to renegotiate his contract.
