The 26-year-old is out of contract at the DW Stadium and therefore available on a free transfer and Moyes is keen to land him as he rebuilds his frontline but Fulham boss Martin Jol now looks to be favourite for his signature.
Jol was closing in on talented Russian frontman Pavel Pogrebnyak but he was gazumped by Reading even though the striker had spent six months at Craven Cottage last season, so he has now moved to the Colombian and, according to reports, has agreed a deal.
