QPR sign Park-Ji Sung from Man United on a 2 year deal.
In the closing months of the 04/05 season, Park chose to join Sir Alex Ferguson’s Man United. Park signed for the Premier League side for £4 million.
On 5 February 2012, Park made his 200th appearance for Manchester United by coming on as a substitute in the 86th minute against Chelsea. He became the 92nd player in the history of the club to reach the milestone.
Park-Ji Sung played in 134 games and scored 19 goals for Man United. He has also played for his national club South Korea 100 times and scored 13 goals.
Park said during press conference: ’QPR is a club with huge history and tradition, and a great ambition to achieve at the very highest level. This project was simply too good to resist.’
QPR owner: ‘I’m the ultimate dreamer and myself and Mark have worked incredibly hard to make this happen. Ji has bought into the story and I’m so delighted’
