Bellamy fit for Wembley

Craig Bellamy has shaken off a back problem and is expected to start for Liverpool in Sunday's Carling Cup final against Cardiff at Wembley.

The Cardiff-born 32-year-old has had an injection to ease a spasm and has trained this week.

Defender Daniel Agger, who missed last week's cup clash with Brighton, is set to return to the starting line-up.

Championship side Cardiff will give late fitness tests to Mark Hudson and Stephen McPhail.

Skipper Hudson has been struggling with a calf problem, while midfielder McPhail has missed four games due to the effects of the immune system disorder Sjogren's Syndrome.

Keeper Tom Heaton has overcome an ankle injury and is expected to be named in the team ahead of David Marshall.
