Former Inter striker Diego Forlan has spoken about his time at the San Siro and revealed just why his form was so poor.
The Uruguayan managed to score two goals in 18 Serie A appearances, but insists this was not all down to his lack of decisiveness in front of goal.
“I was playing in a position where I had never played before. I accepted it because I had no other choice. I’m here now, though, and I hope to play in my natural position as striker again,” Forlan told the press.
Forlan has now moved on and signed a three-year deal will Brazilian side Internacional.
