SPURS IN FOR KAKA?
Ballsy and almost entirely untrue story in The Daily Express this morning.
That most august of journals reports that Spurs are lining up a loan move for Kaka. Yep, that Kaka.
Of course, attacking midfield/No.10 is exactly the place Spurs don't really need anyone else, but the Express ploughs on regardless.
The paper claims Harry Redknapp wants 'another creative player to add to his stable of ball players', and has identified the property of Jesus as the man he wants.
Here's the interesting (if still untrue) part though - there could be some horse trading involved.
The paper claims: 'Real want to recoup about £30million for the former AC Milan player but their long-standing interest in Tottenham's Gareth Bale could lead them to do a deal if there is some encouragement that the Welshman may be available.
'Redknapp wants cover for Rafael van der Vaart as his club embark on the second half of an impressive season, with a title challenge a real possibility.'
Rather inevitably, PSG are said to be keen as well.
SHANGHAI WANT DROGBA TOO
It seems Shanghai Shenhua is the place to be for ageing Chelsea forwards.
After the Chinese side bagged Nicolas Anelka on Monday, they have apparently set their sights on Didier Drogba too.
Zhou Jun, the businessman who is backing the team, is quoted by the Laaaahdan Evening Standard as saying: "Drogba, is a very excellent player. If these big-name players are willing to come to China, we are willing to have warm negotiations and communications with them.
"A lot of clubs are chasing Drogba. From our perspective, we also have to see what Drogba wants. So from our club's perspective, we have this to say: If he is willing to come, we will definitely welcome him."
GOTZE DENIED HIS DREAMS!

About where Tevez will go in January, Seedorf said: "Looking back at his career, his agents and every move he has ever made, I think Tevez will go where they can promise him the most money.

Roman Pavlyuchenko's agent is something of a gobsh*te, for barely a week goes by without him linking his client to a new club, but here's what he has been quoted as saying about the latest potential move for Pav:
"This is true that Tottenham have turned to QPR," Oleg Artemov told sovsport.ru.
"I know about it. The club has a right to do so as they have a contract with Roman.
"Before talking about it - if Roman wants to be a QPR player or not - we have to consider every detail. Roman hasn't thought about it yet."
