Sunderland's David Vaughan says he expects Tottenham to come out all guns blazing when they tackle his Sunderland side on Sunday.
Harry Redknapp's side lost for the first time in 12 matches last week when they went down 2-1 to Stoke and they've now also gone out of the Europa League despite a 4-0 win away at Shamrock Rovers.
But rather than those results deflating Spurs, Vaughan believes it will make them even more desperate to get back on track against the Black Cats this weekend.
"(White Hart Lane)] is a tough place to go and we'll be facing great players who had been on a fantastic run," he told the club's official website.
"They'll be looking to get another win on the board and bounce back from defeat. Certainly they have players that can win games all over the pitch.
"We must work hard, stick to out tactics and hopefully take our chances when they come along.
"No doubt we will make a few special plans for individuals but it's important to focus on what we can do and how we can hurt them.
"Hopefully I can get on the ball - if selected - and cause them a few problems."
