Milan rubbish Balotelli, Kaka links

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani dismissed reports of bids for Real Madrid midfielder Kaka and Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli.

With many of Milan's players currently busy on international duty at Euro 2012, the club has been relatively quiet on the transfer front.
Former Milan midfielder Kaka has been reported as being unsettled at Real Madrid and rumours had floated earlier in June that the Spanish club were open to sanctioning a sensational return to Italy for the Ballon d'Or winner.
The club were linked with a loan offer for the Brazilian international as well as a bid for temperamental Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli but Galliani recently made a firm statement clarifying his position on the rumours.
Galliani told Sky Sport Italia: "I have many dreams, but seeing Balotelli at Milan will most likely remain just that."
"As for Kaka, I see his return to San Siro as impossible. They have different tax laws in Spain and we can't compete with their salaries.
Instead, the official insisted that his side were currently focused in finding a replacement for the departing Mark van Bommel. The midfielder left the club to rejoin PSV Eindhoven on a free transfer and other stalwarts such as Filippo Inzaghi, Clarence Seedorf and Gennaro Gattuso joined the exodus following the end of the 2011/12 season.
"In order to complete our squad, we are missing a midfielder who can play in front of the defence," confessed Galliani.
"Kevin Constant was signed yesterday [Thursday] from Genoa to replace the injured Sulley Muntari."
The Rossoneri have been primarily busy staving off interest from Paris St Germain for their Brazilian defender Thiago Silva in recent weeks. They reportedly rejected a big-money offer for the defender and Galliani declared that the Milanese club are fully focused on preparing for the new season.
"Our objective for the season ahead is to win the Italian championship and go as far as possible in the Champions League," he stated when asked to summarise the focus for the upcoming campaign.
Milan completed the loan signing of Kevin Constant and the partial purchase of Francesco Acerbi from Genoa on Thursday.
