Nasri denies exit talk

Manchester City star Samir Nasri has laughed off speculation he could be leaving the club this summer in a part exchange deal.

The French international was reportedly being lined up as a makeweight along with Edin Dzeko in attempt by Roberto Mancini to prize Thomas Muller away from Bayern Munich.

However, Nasri insists there is absolutely no truth in the story and fully expects to be playing his football at the Etihad Stadium for years to come.

The midfielder struggled at times for consistency last season after joining the Premier League champions from Arsenal, although his form for France at Euro 2012 so far has been very impressive.

Nasri couldn't have asked for a better start to the tournament as he fired home his country's equaliser past City team-mate Joe Hart in the 1-1 draw in Donetsk, but he has still be left frustrated by these rumours about his future.

He said: "Yes of course [I will be in Manchester next season]. That is why I said something to L'Equipe because they wrote something that isn't true.

"I spoke with Brian Marwood and everyone and they want me to stay at the club for a long time in Manchester."
