Eto’o is looking highly likely to leave the Camp Nou this summer in search of a new challenge away from Spain. The Cameroon hitman, who has scored 89 goals in just 136 games during his time at Barca, finds himself out of new coach Pep Guardiola's plans, and the Catalan club have given the player and his representative, José María Mesalles, the green light to explore possible destinations and report back to them. Eto’o is expected back at Barcelona today where he will meet club officials to sort out his future. The player has been linked with a whole host of clubs, but El Mundo Deportivo claims that Inter boss Jose Mourinho is very interested in signing the forward. Nerazzurri President Massimo Moratti could easily finance the deal, and indeed is looking to make a big name buy this summer, with Roma’s Amantino Mancini the only player to arrive so far. Inter’s city rivals Milan are certainly now out of the running, following the signing of Ronaldinho, but it is believed that Arsenal and Chelsea may both still consider making moves.
