Inter striker Mario Balotelli is arguably one of the most interesting young Italian players around (though he still has to wait a few weeks to get his passport and become 'officially' Italian). Today on La Gazzetta dello Sport he gives an interview in which he talks about the comparison between Inter and city rivals Milan.
"Pato, Kaká, and Ronaldinho are better than Balotelli, Ibrahimovic, and Adriano? What about Cruz, Crespo and Suazo? We should be scared? Please...," he said.
He then talked about some of the players he admires most, citing a pair who are not exactly seen as examples of professionalism: "My idol? Ronaldo, Luis Nazario obviously... The nicest? Cassano."
Balotelli had less kind words for another big name player: "The most arrogant? Cristiano Ronaldo, he's a true phenomenon, one of my favorites, but I can't stand some of his mannerisms..."
The 17-year-old will obtain his Italian citizenship when he turns 18 on 12 August, at which point he will be eligible to play for the Azzurri.
