According to BBC Sport, Arsenal could spend as much as £100m in the next two weeks.

"There is absolutely no chance of that," Wenger said of the possibility he could revive a deal for the Uruguayan after two failed bids already this summer.

However, Arsenal are readying a big-money double offer to tempt Real to part with Benzema and Di Maria - and the Spanish giants could be ready to listen as they look to gather the funds necessary to push through a world record deal for Gareth Bale.
Benzema is valued at £40m by Arsenal, while Di Maria is worth around £25m.
"The transfer market starts for me now and a lot of activity will happen between now and September 2," said Wenger.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have been warned they will need to significantly raise their £4m bid if they are to stand a chance of landing Valencia shot stopper Vicente Guaita - rated at £25m by the La Liga outfit.
