Chelsea are still keen on signing Manchester striker Wayne Rooney, while Gareth Bale continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid.
With teams looking to buy and sell before the transfer window closes on September 2nd, Crunchsports.com takes a look at three Premier League players who continue to be linked with big-money moves away from their current clubs...
1. Wayne Rooney to Chelsea
Manchester United continue to insist Rooney is not for sale, but Chelsea have already made two bids for the unsettled striker and have confirmed they plan to return with a third offer next week.
Rooney is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge and although David Moyes insists he will not let the 27-year-old leave Old Trafford, there is still plenty of time for the England international to try and force through a move.
Mourinho has in recent days already confirmed that Rooney is still his main transfer target, but the Blues boss is willing to put any talks on hold until his side travel to Old Trafford on Monday.
"We did [bid for Rooney] before and we will do [again] later," Mourinho told reporters after Chelsea's 2-1 win over Aston Villa on Wednesday night.
"[But] I don't want Chelsea to do it before we go there...from the ethical point of view."
Arsenal are also believed to be interested.

2. Marouane Fellaini to Manchester United
Fellaini has been on United's radar for some time and manager David Moyes earlier this week failed with a £28million bid for the Belgian midfielder and team-mate Leighton Baines.
A report on Thursday suggested Moyes had returned with an improved offer of £35m for the pair, and although Everton continue to insist they are planning to keep hold of both players, this deal looks increasingly likely.

3. Gareth Bale to Real Madrid
Tottenham winger Bale has been linked with Real throughout the summer and is understood to have already agreed personal terms with the Spanish giants.
The transfer has yet to be agreed, but reports in Spain in the past 24 hours have suggested it could happen before the end of the week and is expected to eclipse the £80million world record fee Real paid Manchester United for Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009.
Tottenham have been holding out for £100m for the Wales international, but reports in Spain on Thursday suggested Los Blancos were hopeful of agreeing a deal for a figure in the region of £85m.
This one now looks to be a case of when, rather than if, and Real have left the No. 11 shirt vacant ready for Bale.
