Sagnol: Germany will dominate Europe

Former Bayern Munich star and France sporting director Willy Sagnol has tipped Germany to dominate European football for the next decade.

The former France international believes that the structure in German football gives them an edge over the rest of European nations by overcoming their weakness and putting them well-prepared for the future.

In an interview with Kicker, Sagnol said: "Germany will dominate European football over the next 10 years. I think they have no weakness anymore,

"The DFB has a model for football. The structure in Germany is much more stable."

Sagnol did raise one question over Joachim Low's team, however, claiming that the leadership may be a stumbling block.

"Perhaps the only trouble in the German national team is the leadership problem," he asserted. "Germany have not had a difficult phase since 2006, so one cannot say whether the present leadership is good."

Germany have made it to the semi-finals of the last three major tournaments they took part in and are one of the favourites to claim the trophy at Euro 2012.
