Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish insists the club will not make any signings before Tuesday's transfer deadline, despite being linked with Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
And the Scot has confirmed that none of his senior players will be leaving Anfield this week following reports suggesting the Merseysiders are looking to offload record signing Andy Carroll.
Dalglish told the club's official website: "There'll be nothing happening here in the transfer window, in or out.
"There's no need to ask any questions about transfers or speculation or anything else."
At the weekend it was reported that Liverpool had contacted Man City last week to propose a swap deal involving Carroll and Tevez, while a report on Monday morning suggested Tevez was still a loan target for the Reds.
