Manchester United are facing more injury problems with Phil Jones, Michael Carrick and Nani struggling after Sunday's win at Arsenal.
Red Devils chief Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed after the 2-1 victory at the Emirates Stadium that defender Phil Jones is definitely facing a spell on the sidelines after being stretchered off during the game with ankle ligament damage.
However, Ferguson also revealed that midfielder, Carrick, is struggling with his hamstring, although it is hoped that the problem is not too serious.
"It's not good news for us," Ferguson said. "I think Jones will be out for a few weeks - it's ankle ligaments.
"Carrick was feeling his hamstring in the second half and he just had to sit in the middle of the pitch."
Meanwhile, there are reports circulating that Portuguese winger, Nani, wore a protective boot after the game over fears he suffered a possible metatarsal injury to his right foot.
