Borussia Dortmund have claimed Mario Goetze, who has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid, has agreed to stay at the club.
The 19-year-old, who recently hinted that he could snub a move to the Premier League and move to Madrid this year, has been linked with most of Europe's elite in recent weeks.
Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool and several Serie A sides are also keen on the Germany international, while recent reports have suggested that both the Gunners and Madrid are preparing to launch bids for the teenager either this month or in the summer.
However, according to Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc, Goetze has agreed to stay at the club for the rest of this season, and will not leave the club next season either.
"We have reached an agreement with Mario and he will still play at Borussia Dortmund next season," Zorc told Bild.
"He has a contract until June 2014, and we have no reason to sell him.
"I'm no prophet, though. We would have to think about it if a team makes a €1 milliard offer for him tomorrow."
Goetze last month had insisted that he was not actively seeking a move during this month's transfer window, but had refused to completely rule out switching clubs if offers were made for him, admitting he was flattered by the interest being shown.
