Everton loan star Landon Donovan hopes he can sign off with a goal in the final game of his loan spell against Blackpool.
Donovan is set for the final game of his second loan stay at Goodison Park and the US international is yet to score during his current loan stint.
The forward admits he would love to grab a goal in the FA Cup date with the Seasiders, but he isn't bothered about finding the net as long as Everton secure the win.
"Of course it would be nice to score," he told evertontv. "As an attacking player it is always nice to score.
"If we win 1-0 and it is an own goal then I would be happy - as long as we advance in the cup then I am happy - but I would be lying if I said I didn't want to score."
Donovan admits it will be hard to leave Everton for a second-time as he prepares to head back to America for the start of the MLS season with LA Galaxy.
He added: "It is bittersweet. Of course I am excited to go home and see my friends and family and teammates back in LA, but I have only been here a short time and I feel like this is my family too so it is kind of hard to leave that."
Donovan has previously revealed he would welcome the chance to join Everton on a permanent basis, but only when his Galaxy contract comes to an end in two years.
